• Cold chain logistics and warehousing
• Last-mile delivery services
• Supply chain management
• Real-time tracking and monitoring

3. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 Account Security

• Maintain confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Accurate Information

• Provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses
• Correctly describe products being shipped
• Disclose any special handling requirements
• Comply with food safety regulations

3.3 Prohibited Items

You may NOT ship:

• Hazardous or illegal materials
• Expired or contaminated food products
• Items that violate health regulations
• Products without proper labeling

4. PRICING AND PAYMENT

4.1 Rates

• Pricing based on distance, weight, temperature requirements, and urgency
• Quotes provided before service confirmation
• Rates subject to change with notice

4.2 Payment Terms

• Payment due upon service completion or as agreed
• Accepted methods: Credit card, bank transfer, corporate accounts
• Late payments subject to interest charges
• We reserve the right to suspend services for non-payment

4.3 Additional Fees

• Waiting time charges
• Failed delivery attempts
• Special handling or equipment
• After-hours or weekend services

5. DELIVERY AND PERFORMANCE

5.1 Delivery Times

• Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed
• Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances
• We will make reasonable efforts to meet scheduled deliveries

5.2 Temperature Control

• We maintain specified temperature ranges during transport
• Temperature logs available upon request
• Customer responsible for proper packaging

5.3 Failed Deliveries

• Recipient unavailable or refuses delivery
• Incorrect address provided
• Access restrictions at delivery location
• Re-delivery fees may apply

6. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

6.1 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the declared value of the shipment or $100 per shipment, whichever is less, unless additional insurance is purchased.

6.2 Exclusions

We are NOT liable for:

• Acts of God, natural disasters, or force majeure events
• Damage due to improper packaging by customer
• Inherent defects in products
• Delays caused by third parties
• Consequential or indirect damages

6.3 Claims

• Damage or loss claims must be reported within 24 hours
• Written claim required within 7 days
• Inspection of damaged goods may be required

7. FOOD SAFETY COMPLIANCE

All shipments must comply with:

• FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)
• HACCP principles
• Local health department regulations
• Proper labeling and documentation

8. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

8.1 Cancellation Policy

• Cancel at least 2 hours before scheduled pickup: No charge
• Cancel within 2 hours: 50% cancellation fee
• No-show or after pickup: Full charge

8.2 Refunds

• Refunds processed within 7-10 business days
• Refund to original payment method
• Service fees may be non-refundable

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on our website and materials are owned by HCT Food Logistics. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HCT Food Logistics from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of these terms, or violation of any laws or regulations.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

11.1 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, United States.

11.2 Arbitration

Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except for claims in small claims court.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

13. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services for violation of these terms, non-payment, or any reason at our discretion.
